Lizzy's Birthday

~1998~

Elizabeth Nicole Brown, born December 3, 1998, at 5:16 p.m., weighing 8 lbs 12 ozs.

Both my doctor and Steve were bishops when I was pregnant with Lizzy. They didn't want her birth to interfere with tithing settlement, so they decided together to have me induced in November. After many hours of labor, my doctor decided that November 20th was not going to be her birthday. I got sent home with cookie bouquet in hand, only to be induced again on December 3rd.

On Lizzy's actual birthday we went and got pedicures together.

The kids decorated Lizzy's room, put up her new lamp she got for her birthday, and had a Taylor Swift CD (one of her presents) playing when she walked in. For her friend party, she took three of her closest friends to dinner and the movie, A Christmas Carole.

Lizzy is such a sweet, kind, helpful little girl, (she even helps with laundry). We are so happy she is part of our family.
