Best of 2015

Two missionaries returned with honor, two expecting daughters, two new grand babies, two wonderful trips, two happy kids making teams, and one child got sealed in the temple.  Life is good, I am blessed!

Christmas 2015

Christmas brunch with my favorite bunch.  I love these kids and am so blessed to have them.  I am grateful for their strong testimonies of the Savior Jesus Christ.  I am grateful to be celebrating his birth this day.  We are blessed beyond measure.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2015

Family traditions continue; Scott and Connie host a Christmas Eve dinner at their house.  It includes lots of wonderful appetizers, as well as turkey, ham, and all the trimmings.  We enjoy visiting and celebrating with family.

The Brown's Christmas Eve celebration begins later, with dancing around the Christmas tree, opening gifts, and indulging in lots of Christmas candy.

Sneak Peek of the Wedding

Coulter and Kate's wedding was magical.  She was a stunning bride, and he a handsome groom.  I'll do a better post once we get the pictures back from the photographers.  I don't think I took a single picture.  I must have been busy.  Here are two pictures from her bridal shoot, as well as miscellaneous ones from a friend's phone.  We might have been a little obsessed by the windows at the reception.  It was stunning to say the least.  Kate loves Christmas lights.  To have her two favorite things, Christmas lights and the temple shining out the windows at the reception was spectacular.

Kate

This girl has been sleeping in my bed ever since her Dad passed away.  Yes, we have had interruptions, like her mission, but more than not she has been my bed buddy.  We have laughed, cried, fought, shared sicknesses, and talked til the wee hours of the morning.  I love this girl to pieces, and can't believe that in the morning she will become Mrs. Crowell, and will no longer be sleeping with her mom.  I think my emotions are a little tender tonight.

The Cookie Exchange

I look forward to the Cookie Exchange each year.  A group of wonderful woman, make beautiful cookies that we get to sample.  Each person takes a turn explaining why they chose the cookie they brought.  I come home with a plate full of a variety of fabulous cookies.

This year Si Foster hosted it at her house.  Several women brought salad and soup for us to enjoy while we mingled.

What a fun day!

Santa Clause

Here comes Santa Clause!  Right to our house!

We love the Brown Santa party, and were happy to host it at our house this year.  We had appetizers, sang songs in hopes that St. Nicholas would come, learned what naughty and nice things we had done this year, received a gift, and had dessert.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for making sure we all to a personal visit with Santa each year!
