UVU Competition

The UVU competition was a little more competitive.  There were more schools to compete against than the Mustang competition.  The girl's were amazing and took first again in everything.  On their Character performance they receive 100 points out of 100. It looks like all their hard work is paying off!

Wedding Invitations

Tueller's Printing designed, printed, and addressed Kate and Coulter's wedding invitations.  They are BEAUTIFUL!  I love them!  They did such an amazing job!  If you ever need wedding invitations, or any other printing done, that is the place to go!

All the invitations are out. If you didn't get one, my apologies, we had a few come back with incorrect addresses (our fault, not Tueller's), and some accidentally didn't get added.

Ready or not, here we go!

Bridal Showers

With the holidays in full swing, it is difficult to get everyone together for bridal showers.  We combined a lot to make it easier for others.  Coulter's family and my family combined for her first shower.  Coulter's aunt hosted it at her house with the help of many other family members.  It was very nice.

The Brown's hosted another shower at Grandma's house.  E's display of undies is on a need to know basis only.  If you are a girl, and were at the shower you know all about it.  If you aren't then you don't need to know:)!  It was a lovely shower!

Katelyn also had a joint ward shower with Matt Cox and his lovely fiancĂ© .  Becky Parry hosted it at her house, with the help of many other wonderful women in our ward.

Her friends also gave her a shower.  I heard it was a "private" shower, if you know what I mean.

We are beyond grateful for the many friends and family that have support Katelyn and Coulter during this busy time of year!  We love you!

Christmas Candy

Let the candy making begin….. Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without homemade candy.  We started the month off with making mints with my sister-in-laws.  I still don't think I could do it myself.  Everyone has a purposed.  I'm a melter, Michelle - the pounder (the hardest job), Les is the cutter, and Jen this year has a bad back so her daughter E filled is as another melter. Jen we rudely labeled "the dog beater", since she tried to discipline Ashley's new puppy with a tap on it's nose!  What a fun day!

Later in the month, some of my girl's and I, got together to make carmel/pretzels.  It take all day with all the different processes.  It was fun watching these cute little moms be domestic and care for their adorable little ones.  They are both such great moms!

The next few days I finished making caramels and toffee.

Bring on Christmas!

Mustang Classic

The BHS Mandonell's participated in the Mustang Classic competition at Herriman High School.  It was an all day affair with schools performing from all over Utah.  BHS performed their Military, Dance, and Character routines.  They were very excited to take first place in each category in 4A.  The also took first in overall performance which includes 5A schools.  Way to go girls!

Happy 17th

Happy birthday to this sweet, sassy, beautiful daughter of mine!  This afternoon I made her favorite cookies, brownie/peppermint, and took them down to the Drill Team.  We decorated her room, gave her gifts, and took her to the Old Spaghetti Factory at Trolley Square for dinner.  We stopped for a quick visit with Santa before scurrying home to get her to the high school where the student body was watching Elf.

Happy Birthday Lizzy Lou! Love my baby girl!

Love watching my son-in-laws with their little ones!

2015 Grand Babies

The newest grands, Liv and Stockton. They are precious!

Thanksgiving 2015

Thanksgiving was hosted by my sister Heidi and her husband Kay.  They deserve an extra shout out for preparing and hosting this gathering, since all of their kids live out of state and none of them would be attending.  How kind to put on a big shin dig for your siblings and their kids.

Meagan and I prepared the day before making homemade pies, rolls, and Lizzy made Grandma Brown's turkey cookies.

Brad and Sidona's family was with us this Thanksgiving.  It was a treat to have them there with their two boys.

We had a fabulous meal, played some ping-pong, and visited.  What a great Thanksgiving!

My Peanut at the Peanut Movie

Brent and I took this little peanut and his brother to the Peanut Movie.  It was just up their ally.  Mason even got his own popcorn, drink, and treat.  We had the theatre to ourselves, which was nice when Stockton needed a little TLC.  Love these boys!

My First Granddaughter

Liv Reese Hansen was born the morning of November 9th.  We are over the moon to have her here.  She is perfect in every way.  Her mom did amazing, and her Dad didn't faint;).  We are so excited to have you here little lady!  Happy Birthday Liv!

State Football Play Offs

The Mandonell's performed at half-time at BHS State Football Play offs.  Fortunately, I sat by the Parry's so our Home Teacher, Brother Parry, took some high quality pictures for me.  The football games were pretty exciting too.
